The M&P Lab Increases Metallurgical Capability at Greenville Facility

The M&P Lab announces the appointment of Edward Vesely as Senior Metallurgist, based at the company’s Greenville, SC, location.  Of the appointment, President Frank Anderson said, “Ed adds significant technical strength and breadth of experience in metallurgy to the Greenville team. He will help The M&P Lab meet the growing demand for metallurgical evaluations and failure analyses in the Southeast.”

Mr. Vesley comes to Greenville from Indianapolis, where he was an industry consultant. Prior to that, he was technical lead for IIT Research Institute’s Advanced Materials Processing and Technology Information Analysis Center, where he conducted technical analyses of metals and metal matrix composites under Department of Defense contracts. Vesely earned B.S. and M.S. degrees in metallurgical and materials engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from Nova Southeastern University. He is a Six Sigma Green Belt, ASQ SSQB, from Villanova University. A native of Chicago, Vesely is a member of ASM, AWS, ASTM, SME, TMS and ASQ.
